iPad Pro 12.9in Review : Screen Display

iPad Pro 12.9in review : Screen Display comes with a 12.9-inch, compared to the 9.7-inch display on the iPad Air and the 7.9-inch display on the iPad mini. That's 78 percent more screen space than the next-largest iPad. The LCD display on the iPad Pro is obviously the main selling point here, as the 12.9-inch expanse is excellent for viewing anything from movies to games to books to the web. It's got the same 264 pixels per inch pixel density that typify Apple mobile devices to class this as a Retina display.

A diagonal measurement review of iPad Pro 12.9in makes for a device that is both sharply differentiated from the smaller iPads and a convenient size in terms of productivity and ease of use. The smart thing Apple has done here is add in a 2732 x 2048 resolution to the mix - this means you're sticking with the same 4:3 screen display ratio of previous iPads (great for browsing the web as it's more expansive, but means black bars above and below movies) but when used in landscape mode has the same pixels vertically as the iPad Air held in portrait mode. That's the same pixel density - 264.68 pixels per inch (PPI) - as the iPad Air 2, stretched across a much biggest screen specifications.

With a total of 5.6 million pixels on the show, Apple boasted that the iPad Pro has more pixels than the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro. And it's supposed to be power-efficient too, with the ability to adjust refresh rate as and when the movement on the screen warrants it. "For the first time in any of our devices," says Apple, "iPad Pro knows when the content on your screen is static and cuts the refresh rate in half, to 30 times per second instead of 60. This means that the screen isn't just big, beautiful and bright. It's also incredibly energy-efficient". Other familiar display screen of iPad Pro 12.9in features include Apple’s fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating, full laminated display and an antireflective coating.
